Ghida thanked everyone who volunteered for Stamp Out Hunger to support Moraine Township on Saturday. Individuals throughout the community placed donations by their mail boxes which were collected by mail carriers and delivered to support the Township's Pantry. Paul Munk, Len Tenner, Court Williams and President Neukirch volunteered  Saturday on behalf of the Rotary Club.

Last week, we held a productive brainstorm session last week to review every area of our Club's operation in order to plan for the FY2020 year. If anyone has feedback to share, please contact Paul Munk or Ghida Neukirch.

Our keynote was Nick Roberts, the Scout Executive and CEO of the Northeast Illinois Council, Boy Scouts of America.  Mr. Roberts shared information about the history of the Boy Scouts of America including the history-making inclusion of girls in the club. He also shared information about the requirements for each rank of scouting, including the highest - Eagle Scout. Mr. Roberts shared a video that will be showcased to promote Boy Scouts.

 

He has served  as a professional Scouter for twenty years. His career has taken him from Southeast Missouri to St. Louis, to Naperville. He currently resides in Vernon Hills with his wife Dana, a registered nurse soon to be a nurse practitioner specializing in women's health and fertility. They are proud parents of a son Cooper and daughter Ava.
