President Eric Ephraim welcomed members. We recited the Pledge of Allegiance and the Four-Way Test.

This week, members were thankful for: Eric Ephraim was happy his son was at Overton has seen some action on the football field. No TDs - yet! Karen Dennis was happy to have celebrated 50 years of marriage to Allan, and the start of MYA's 30th year! Len Tenner was excited that he and Bobbie celebrated 62 years last week! Phil Lazarus was happy to be with everyone. Mary Beth was happy to have returned from her Alaskan cruise and now is over Covid she got after the trip! Mike Babian was happy that we have the chance to get together next week for our last Wednesday of the month. So we will be at 28 Mile again - 28Mile on the 28th. Check your emails for more info!

The Day's Program

Our speaker. DG Bill Kmiecik has to cancel. Still , we managed to fill our the time!

Len gave us an update on Interact. The Club has 86 members (150-175 applicants)! They will have their first social event tonight.

Eric announced the Lake County Community Foundation has sent $35,000 to the HP Business & Employee Recovery Fund.

Master storyteller Bill Pigati was able to regale with stories of early history of the area.

Jagger Barnes has been recognized (again) by Points of Light as 2022 POINTS OF LIGHT INSPIRATION HONOR ROLL

Here are pictures from a recent event at Misericordia this month:

Family Fest is for all ages. Nearly 15,000 people from all around Chicago and the suburbs flock to our campus for a wonderful afternoon of food, fun, drink, live entertainment, kids games and rides, bingo, raffles, shopping and more. This one day event takes approximately 2000 volunteers in order to run smoothly and the volunteer opportunities are endless. Interact got to dress up as different characters giving away stickers and interacting with guests.
